Been around since I was a kid. It's always good. And They have the best egg rolls I have ever had from any Chinese place I have eaten at. And I lived on the road for a long time so that's saying a lot lol.
Being original from Long Island, I'm use to grabbing Chinese take out on the weekend now and then. You tend to learn what is considered good or bad take out by the quality of the chicken, beef, and seafood served. My family and I have gone to the Hong Kong Chinese restaurant several times now. I can honestly say that every time our food was excellent! If we ordered something with chicken, the chicken was not dry or stringy, but cooked just right. If we ordered something with beef, the beef was not tough, or dry, but cooked just right. If we ordered something with seafood, all good. I would recommend the Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Chinese takeout.
Been going here for 5+ years whenever I want some Chinese food. My favorite from here is the Sesame chicken, it never fails to fill me up, and is always delicious.
We have really enjoyed this take out Chinese restaurant. Or go-to's are sesame chicken, crab rangoons, house lo mein, general Tso's & egg rolls. (I love the Spring rolls too). If you're looking for a good take out place, this checks the box. It's really busy every time I've been, so I usually call ahead my order.
Food is always good I mean it's hard not to mess up simple foods. The prices are pretty high and the customer service is sometimes great depending who is at the front. When I ask for hot sauce the main lady gives a horrible vibe and if you ask for more you can feel the hate. Other then that not bad at all
